i hate being poor. but at the same time i love it. it means i can put more effort into more meaningful gifts. but at the same time i can't buy things i need/want very much. my sub runs out in month. i am going to miss it horribly. goddamn south africa. nahh, i love that gorgeous place and its inhabitants.

i'm home. from a crazy couple of weeks in south africa. i had the most amazing time, with some really stellar people. namely ~The-InvisibleFriend and his crowd. thank you all for a great time. i also saw some strange sights, and some beautiful people & beaches.

anyway, most of the time i was shooting film. so i have to wait for them to come back from the lab now... eek, i am so excited. and well now, i am super busy, so i must be off.

ps. i just realised my sub runs out in a month. ultra sad gen face. *starts worrying*

aloha my pretties! i am in south africa, living it up. it's so great over here, i love the atmosphere... despite the craziness. like ~The-InvisibleFriend's driving. nah, love you ash!

anyway yesterday i discovered that i can't open any of my raw files here. cause on my laptop i forgot that i hadn't completely installed cs3 properly, so the trial won't work, and i left the crack back in au. *sigh* so you won't be seeing any photography from me for two weeks. big sad face from gen.

but, i am enjoying snapping round here, and thank the heavens for ashraf, otherwise i'd be stuck. stuck inside a retirement village all day & all night, or alternately stuck at kirstenbosch (giant botanical garden) all day.

everything's pretty hectic now. one exam left before i'm free to roam the world. one week till i'm back in the cape. there'll be some good photos from there. i can't wait to meet up with ~The-InvisibleFriend, it will be so fun.
